Kate Johnson is Creative Manager for Chester Music and Novello & Co, part of the Music Sales Group of Companies. Kate has worked at Music Sales for eight years, creating projects with well-known composers such as Sir John Tavener, Eric Whitacre, Tarik O’Regan, Richard Rodney Bennett, Patrick Hawes, Craig Armstrong, Judith Weir and many others.
For some five years Kate worked as the Choral Promotion Manager promoting works worldwide for performance, commercial recording and broadcast and creating new choral commissions. Through regular attendance at conferences, events and through her wide contact base with performers and promoters alike, Kate has aimed to further the legacy of our choral tradition through the genuine passion for her work.
