Where do I buy the NYCGB uniform?

Shirts for Junior and Training Choirs should be plain, school-style with long sleeves. If you are struggling to find an ankle-length skirt, we recommend trying to find a Ladies' style rather than childrens'. Neckerchiefs (Junior and Training Choir girls) and ties (for Junior boys) are provided on courses.

For main choir, blue NYC dresses and blue bowties are provided through the office.

Girls' tights for all concerts must be black and 15 denier. Shoes should be all black and court-style, and comfortable enough to stand up for a whole concert (at least an hour).

Boys should wear smart black shoes and black socks.

How do I make payment to NYCGB?

You can either send a cheque made payable to The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain or via direct bank transfer Ref NYCGB, Barclays, Account Number 60691178, Sortcode 20 43 04.

We do not have the facilities for card payments at this time.

Please note that for merchandise orders, the price includes P&P.

Where do I get an NYCGB concert folder?

Black NYCGB concert folders are included in your membership fee and are given out on our residential courses. Replacements can be ordered by sending a Merchandise Order Form to the office.

What should I bring to my singing lesson?

Please bring a piece of music that you have worked on with your singing teacher that you know very well (ideally by heart). This will allow the teacher you see on a course to get to know your voice very quickly. Remember to bring enough music for both you and your teacher to use!
